Ian Wijma a665490b14 Add build scripts to package.json
Added "build" and "build:tailwind" scripts to package.json file. The "build" script was added to bundle the app with Tauri, which enhances the application's security and performance. The "build:tailwind" script was also added to compile tailwind CSS styles into an index.css file. This ensures styles are correctly applied when app is built for production.

Ian Wijma d7abbd21fd Remove Permissions and add Date formatting in File listing
Removed 'Permissions' column from the file listing in index.html to declutter the view. Instead of showing permissions, we now format the 'Modified' field with a human-friendly date format, to improve readability. This involves changes in 'list.js', where the field 'Permissions' is now replaced with a formatted 'Modified' date. Additionally, a 'formatDate' function is added in 'files.js' to handle the new date formatting logic.

Ian Wijma 00a7c6e684 Add dialog functionality and improve the favourite feature
Added a new dialog.js file to handle dialog based interactions. The favourite feature has been enhanced, removing the need for users to manually enter the path while adding elements to favourites. Instead, a dialog box opens for users to select the directory. Furthermore, a confirmation is now prompted when users try to remove a favourite, improving UX and preventing accidental deletions. These changes were reflected in index.html and favourites.js.

Ian Wijma 6378dadea9 Implement back button functionality for directory navigation
The back button functionality was added to the web application. Now users can navigate directories back and forth, improving user experience and interaction. This new feature is achieved through a 'handleBack' function in the 'back.js' file which listens to the click event on the 'Back' button. When clicked, it adjusts the current directory and navigates the application to the parent directory. This is especially crucial for a software that has a file system or explorer-like structure. The 'Back' button was also modified in 'index.html' to support this functionality and the 'handleBack' function was called in the 'Main' function in 'index.js' to initialise it at the start.

Ian Wijma d2f6d1640a Enhance file browsing and handling in main.rs
This commit provides additional functionality to the file manager, allowing users to view and open files within directories. The 'get_files' command has been added to the main.rs file. This new command navigates directories and retrieves relevant details including the metadata. The metadata includes the creation, modification, and access times converted into Unix time. To handle possible errors during these operations, proper error checks have been put in place. An existing error has been rectified in the tauri.conf.json file. File scopes have been extended to ensure all directories can be

Ian Wijma e8969a4306 Add file browsing, viewing functionalities and enhance navigation
Introduced new functionalities in the file manager application for browsing, listing and opening files. We have added a new command 'get_files' in 'main.rs', which reads entries in a directory and fetches associated metadata. This allows users to view files in a selected directory. Additionally, the command 'open_file' has been added for opening files.
Simultaneously, frontend changes have been made such as: new templates for file lists, handlers for view switching in 'files.js', and rendered files in each mode.
The 'navigation.js' error handling has been improved for invalid navigation.
Improved user experience by adding a breadcrumbs feature for better navigation. This is performed by the newly introduced 'breadcrumbs.js' file which maintains the history of navigated directories.
Overall, these enhanced functionalities improve navigation and file management efficiency for end-users.

Ian Wijma e3716d7e89 Add breadcrumbs feature for improved navigation
The commit introduces a new breadcrumbs.js file, which creates a breadcrumb functionality to improve the app's navigation. The rendered breadcrumbs allow users to keep track of their current directory path and navigate back to previous directories by clicking on the breadcrumb links. This function is also integrated into the main application in index.js.
In addition, changes have been made in 'navigation.js' to include 'exists' method for better directory existence checking before navigation.
Some updates are made in 'favourites.js' to simplify and improve the rendering of favourites. Modifications in 'index.html' support the new breadcrumb feature.
Overall, these changes significantly improve user experience and navigation efficiency.

Ian Wijma f276f686a9 Add initial project setup for a File Browser system
This commit includes the setup of a new File Browser system. The system uses Tailwind CSS for styling alongside Tauri for a Rust backend. It also includes a new HTML index file, several JavaScript files for application logic e.g. favourite handling as well as new CSS files for custom styles. Git ignore file is added to exclude unnecessary files to be tracked by git.

This setup is necessary to start developing File Browsing features and provides a base project structure to work on.
